Florante Aguilar is considered one of the leading proponents of Philippine harana music. On this album, Aguilar plays indigenous instruments in his compositions (i.e. guitar; kulintang; saronai, hegelung; agong; etc.).

Choreographed by master artist Jay Loyola and directed by Alleluia Panis, Maség premiered in San Francisco in November 2014.
