The Philippines was once known as the ’Jazz Capital of Asia’, and Arbie’s mix includes many of the scene’s giants, including tunes from Bong Penera, pianist & guitarist who plays a Brazilian influenced samba & bossa-nova jazz, the groovy Big Band sounds of the Jazz Friends, the funky fusion of Boy Katindig, and even a tune from Filipina-American sisters vocal group The Third Wave.
