banixxx: Bunny Liwanag is a singer/songwriter, based in France and was the vocalist for the reggae group, Hemp Republic. She studied in the University of the Philippines in Los Banos (UPLB) where she formed Hemp Republic in 1999. The band eventually became popular in the reggae scene in the Philippines. The band released an album in 2004 entitled, "Welcome To Hemp Republic" which was a success in the reggae scene and gained the group a loyalty among fans until today. Bunny Liwanag went on to become one of the few female reggae vocalists at the time of the album's release, and was featured as a MYX VJ in 2006 and in PULP magazine's August 2007 issue. In 2008, she moved to Paris, France to do her MBA with Modart International and evolve in her music career internationally. She performed in concerts from 2008 until 2012 in Paris under the management of Creative Talents Worldwide. The venues for the concerts were in Galerie Talmart, Mizmiz Bar, La Caravelle, Le Vent Se Leve, and Pinoy Jam Fete de la Musique amongst many others. In 2012, she signed a distribution deal with Believe Digital under Zimbalam and released her debut solo album in 2012 entitled "Life" with the carrier single "Love is Forever" recorded in the studio ofJoon Claudio in Paris, France. This single was promoted in Europe and raised funds for the street children playing football in the streets of Tondo, Manila, Philippines, featured in the music video. She became involved actively in fundraising projects for the street children in the Philippines and she continues the volunteer workwith The Virlanie Foundation in France through fund raising concerts and supporting The Virlanie Children’s Choir. In 2015, she delivers her follow-up album with the release of a new 5-track EP Album entitled "Mixtape". The carrier single of this new EP Album is "Never Give You Up", with its music video directed by Aurelien Foray of Dreamhunters Production, filmed in Marseille, France.
